Mi Presión Support
Write to us at soporte@mipresion.app. We answer in Spanish and English, usually within one business day. If you are writing about a problem, tell us which iPhone you have and which version of the app: it is under Settings › About Mi Presión.
Frequently asked questions
Does the app measure blood pressure?
No. Mi Presión does not measure anything: you type in the three numbers your upper-arm monitor shows. That is why it works with any monitor and does not need to connect to one.
Who can see my readings?
As long as you are not sharing with anyone, only your phone. If you share with a family member, your readings sync through our server so both phones see the same thing, and from the app only your household's devices can read them. Who else receives anything, and what, is in the privacy policy.
How do I stop sharing?
Under Settings › Stop sharing. That family member stops seeing them from that moment and their phone empties itself the next time it connects.
What if I lose my phone?
Two things, in this order:
1. Close the household from the other phone. That cuts off access to the server at once, and deletes everything of the household from it. 2. Erase it with Find My iPhone. That is the only thing that reaches what was stored inside the lost device.
Whatever is on a phone that is switched off stays there, encrypted by the system and behind the device passcode, until someone turns it on. No app can erase a phone that is off, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise.
How do I take my data with me?
Under Settings › About Mi Presión › Export data. You get a file with all your readings that any spreadsheet can open, and you can send it wherever you like.
How do I delete everything?
Under Settings › About Mi Presión › Delete all data. The app asks twice, leaves the phone as freshly installed, and also deletes whatever was on the server.
What should I do if a reading comes out "Very high"?
The app asks you to rest for five minutes and measure again. If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness or trouble speaking, do not wait: call emergency services. Mi Presión is not a medical device and does not replace your doctor.
